In February 2000 FBC/International Herald Tribune and Telecinco has decided to create the first economical and financial news multimedia group from Spain. From this group Micartera Media, generate and produce multimedia content: on TV, internet, radio and wap. Micartera.es is the heart of this project. A portal dedicated to economy, business and personal finances, special designed to be useful for all users.
More than 2000 pages of information and news, including a selection of articles from International Herald Tribune translated in Spanish and the assistance of the FBC columnist spread all over the globe.
To manage the publishing process CMS utilizes an extremely flexible yet extensive Work Flow Management system that enables it to conform to any editorial review process. Management is provided the ability to quickly view the current status of any stage of the process either from the perspective of the individual and sections of web pages or from that of an author, workgroup, or supervisory manager.
CMS establishes a professional web development and site management environment, which provides a framework for development. It ensures a seamless integration of applications into the site today, and provides for the maintenance and the extension of the applications into other areas of the site or across the business enterprise.

While subject matter experts are isolated from programming responsibilities, the system does not limit the ability of web professionals to incorporate the most advanced programming techniques in the sites ultimate design.
